Grant Expectations

Kassie Clarke has dedicated her professional career to helping organizations provide accessible, quality healthcare services to underserved individuals and communities. She served as the Community Grants Coordinator for the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH). She managed the activities of the Oregon Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) Grant Program and Small Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) grants. In ten years, Kassie raised and managed close to $10 million in grant funding and wrote the State Rural Health Plan for Oregon.

Prior to joining the Oregon Office of Rural Health, Kassie managed government relations for a dental management company in the Pacific Northwest. She drafted and monitored legislation and rules in three states, managed government contracting primarily with a focus on Medicaid dental reimbursement, and implemented school-based programs. She serves on the Advisory Board for Pacific University’s Dental Science Program.

Kassie is a certified paralegal and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
